I don’t normally do this after watching a movie, but then again, what are blogs for, right? I did not plan on watching “Man of Steel” last night, since I was supposed to watch it this Monday with my friends for fun. Nevertheless, my mom wanted to watch it last night, so I watched it with her as well.
Growing up as a child, I was able to watch some of the earlier “Superman” movies, where Clark Kent would be the secret news reporter working with Lois Lane, then saving her from disaster. The usual super villain stuck in my head when thinking about superman would be Lex Luther, who I thought would be the villain again in this movie. I was wrong…
I generally enjoyed the movie, but I think that the special effects and fight scenes were a bit too much, when I would have enjoyed more on a concentrated story rather than just fight scenes.
Well, I guess I’ll just have to wait for the next superman movies to come out soon.
