Insights on Gravity

I just have to say that Gravity was a surprise for me. It was a sudden decision to watch a movie today, and Gravity was what we picked.

When we hear the word “gravity,” we usually think of a hindrance, a force that pulls us down. Gravity has been extensively used as a metaphor for hindrances, such as in the song “Defying Gravity.” We often think of gravity as something that prevents us from ascending, from getting to the top, but we fail to give gravity some credit.

Ryan, the main character in the movie, had such difficulty with getting back to earth because of the absence of gravity. I mean, without gravity, there would be much more entropy in the universe. We owe gravity our ability to stand and do things, an aspect of life that we tend to overlook. We also tend to forget that gravity is what pulls us closer together as a people, come on, F=(Gmm)/r^2, tell me you’re not attracted.
